Read about the illustrious history of Morden Hall here. Of Morden Hall Park was purchased Messrs Ducket and Whitchurch in 1553. The following year, it was bought Richard Garth, a clerk of the Petty Bay at Chancery and son Upon his death in 1906, Gilliat Hatfeild's son, Gilliat Edward (GE) Hatfeild ran the estate. Sir Richard Garth PC QC (11 May 1820 23 March 1903) was Member of Parliament for Guildford from 1866 to 1868 and Chief Justice of Bengal from 1875 to 1886.
